Well hello friends!! I'm back and better than ever. I'm actually posting pretty frequently now and I am super proud of myself because ya girl is BUSY. But I always feel so good and accomplished after I write a post so this is definitely a good thing. This past week has been hectic, crazy, and pretty incredible all at the same time. I had two tests in my hardest classes, and let me tell you, they were rough. and when I say rough, I mean ROUGH. I studied so hard and I was incredibly diligent, so I know that even if my grades weren't where I expected them to be, I did everything that I could.
Last Saturday was big little reveal for my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, and it was AWESOME. I am so obsessed with my cute little family and I am so grateful for the work God is doing in my life. My Big, Grand-big, and Great-Grand-big are some of the most genuine, authentic, and down to earth humans that I have ever met and it makes my heart so happy to know that I have found my home in the bear fam! I am so pumped to share my next three years of college with a family that is going to support me, love me, and care for me through all of the highs and the lows. Also, in two days I will be ~officially~ initiated and I cannot wait to call myself an Alpha Chi Omega for life!!
If any of you have read my previous posts, you probably know that my word for the year is "Abide". I am not going to say it has been easy for me to keep up with this. Through all of the changes in my life these past few weeks it has been difficult to pay mind to God's plan instead of my own. However, everyday that I wake up in the morning, I am reminded of the life He has for me and the amazing things He has in store for me. My favorite verse these past few weeks comes from Ephesians 3:20 and it states, " I am able to do more for you than you could possibly imagine." Everytime I read this it takes my breath away. There is no way to comprehend the love God has for us, and that makes my heart feel so big. There is no greater love than the love our Father instills in his creation, and that is simply magical.
Well, that's it for this blog post. I hope you all enjoyed my little update and somewhat rant on some of the things going on my life. I am so glad this blog has become a safe place for me to write freely and express myself to all my family and friends. Here's to the next post!!
